The Racó del Bosc urbanization in Sant Feliu de Codines now has a new textile waste collection point at its social center, adding to the six already existing in the municipality.

This initiative, part of the Roba Amiga project and in collaboration with the Fundació Privada Formació i Treball, aims to give clothes a second life through reuse and recycling, while promoting the employment of individuals at risk of social exclusion.
With this new location, Sant Feliu de Codines now has seven textile waste collection points across the town: Pl. de l’1 d’Octubre, C/ Anselm Clavé, Sot del Pedró, Av. de les Escoles – C/ Consell de Cent, C/ Dr. Fleming – C/ Pau Casals, the municipal recycling center in the Pla de la Costa industrial estate, and the new point at the Racó del Bosc urbanization's social center.
All types of textile products can be deposited, including clothing, bed linen, towels, shoes, bags, and belts, regardless of their condition (as long as they are not wet, damp, or stained with substances like paint or grease). Shoes should be paired. Clothes must be clean, folded, and placed in a closed bag no larger than 30 liters.
If a container is full, another collection point can be used, or you can contact the phones 900 73 01 29 and 93 303 41 00 of Formació i Treball Roba Amiga, or report it via the APP available at https://www.santfeliuunpobleviu.cat.
