The improvements include roof renovation with a skylight for natural light, installation of LED lighting on the court, new dividing curtains, and parquet floor polishing. Markings for basketball, futsal, and handball have been updated, new markings for volleyball have been added, and a third transversal court has been incorporated.
These upgrades are partially funded by the Provincial Council of Barcelona, with €42,083.61 from its sectoral program for sports facilities, and by the Generalitat de Catalunya, with €160,000.00 from the Shock Plan for the Improvement of the Basic Network of Public Sports Facilities (2025-2029).
Starting Thursday, October 29, sports entities will be able to resume training and competition on the court. The City Council thanks the entities for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.
