A twenty-three-year-old man fell while walking in the Glorieta area, in the municipality of Mont-ral, suffering a blow to the back that prevented him from walking normally. The incident occurred shortly before 2 PM this Wednesday, July 1st.
Emergency medical services (SEM) were dispatched to the scene, although firefighters were ultimately not needed as the location of the young man was easily accessible to medical personnel.
The young man was transferred to a hospital for more in-depth treatment of his back injury.
