Recently, the council of La Masó has implemented various initiatives to address the need for young people to have suitable places to gather. One of the measures adopted has been the provisional conversion of the school dining hall, located above the Llar Social, into a meeting point.
This solution is temporary and aims to meet the demand until a permanent facility is available. In this regard, the local administration is already working with the prospect of rehabilitating the old cooperative to turn it into the future youth center of the municipality.
The initiative has been designed with the aim of optimizing municipal resources and fostering coexistence, as the space will be shared with other users in the town, including families linked to the school.
In parallel, the Town Council has also facilitated access to the multi-sports court. Keys have been provided to young people to promote an orderly use of the facilities and prevent inappropriate practices, such as unauthorized access by jumping the fence.
