The operation, which remains under judicial secrecy, focused on several municipalities across the three regions. In Alt Camp, officers from the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) conducted searches in Valls, Pla de Santa Maria, and Querol.
The police action began early this Wednesday morning, December 17, 2025, and is linked to a case opened by the judiciary concerning a potential crime against public health.
Although the case is subject to a secrecy order, sources close to the investigation indicate that the deployment resulted in the arrest of several individuals involved in the scheme.
The operation also extended to municipalities in Conca de Barberà and Alt Penedès, confirming the inter-regional scope of the investigation led by the Mossos d’Esquadra.
