This joint action, which also involved the National Police, the Guardia Civil, and Labor Inspection personnel, focused on the historic center of Valls. During the operation period, a total of 328 people were identified, accumulating 1,729 police records, and 81 vehicles were searched at various checkpoints.
The Mossos d'Esquadra issued seventeen reports for infringements of Organic Law 4/2015 on the Protection of Citizen Security, twelve of which were for possession of narcotic substances and five for possession of bladed weapons. Among the twelve arrested, one had four active arrest warrants from courts in Catalonia and another an judicial requisition from Gijón. Four people were arrested for illegal occupation of homes using bladed weapons, and three more for electricity fraud, home occupation, and drug trafficking, one of whom had five pending arrest warrants.
Other arrests include an individual with a prohibition order from residing in Valls, one for assault on law enforcement officers, and another for possession of 400 grams of marijuana in a public place. The Local Police of Valls detected 46 administrative infractions, while the National Police issued sixteen citations for immigration law infringements, arrested one person for admission to the CIE, and filed seven labor and Social Security infractions.
The Guardia Civil, for its part, issued 27 reports for infringements related to the Tax Law, labor market regulations, special taxes on alcohol, and Law 28/2005 on Health Measures, seizing 15.4 kilograms of tobacco in one of the inspected establishments.
As a result of a fire caused by electricity fraud, an indoor plantation with 250 marijuana plants was discovered, and the tenant was arrested. In total, 800 grams of marijuana and 60 grams of cocaine and heroin were seized. Sixteen local inspections were carried out, resulting in one arrest for drug trafficking and several detected infringements. Additionally, five people were reported for electricity fraud, eight for home occupation, and a stolen motorcycle was recovered.
This operation has contributed to a 26.12% decrease in property crimes in Valls and a 14.29% decrease in Alt Camp. Since March 30, active patrolling has begun in the Barri Antic de Valls to identify home occupants and verify potential electricity fraud.
