The event, jointly organized by the Grup Excursionista del Camp de Tarragona and the Town Council of Puigpelat, recognized participants who reached the goal of 100 peaks during 2025.
The day began at 9 AM with an eleven-kilometer hike through the municipality's surroundings, starting from Plaça 1 d’Octubre.
Concurrently, at the Casal Puigpelatenc, a cultural morning took place, featuring a conference and an audiovisual presentation on the Mina de l’Arquebisbe, presented by Xavier de Manuel and Rafael Torrico. A guided tour of the urban center and an exhibition of illustrations titled Art i trajectòria by Josep Serra Virgili were also offered.
At midday, a fellowship lunch in the pavilion, with a mixed paella as the main dish, gathered over a hundred attendees.
The official ceremony for the presentation of the FEEC awards to hikers who completed the 100 peaks challenge took place at 4 PM.
