The Festa Major of Vila-rodona is already warming up with a program of pre-event activities designed to liven up the local community before the main days of the Sant Llorenç celebration, which will take place from August 3rd to 10th.
This Friday, July 31st, at eight in the evening, the traditional Festa Major pétanque tournament will be held at the football field. The event, which includes a dinner for participants, is organized in collaboration with the 6th-grade students' families group to raise funds for their end-of-year trip.
Sunday, August 2nd, will be a notable day with two significant proposals. At midday, at twelve o'clock, the Cinema del Casal will host the presentation of the book Història del Club de Futbol Vila-rodona, a work by Miquel Rubió Jordana that reviews a century of the club's history.
In the afternoon, at half past six, the municipality will offer one of this year's novelties: a major human tower performance by the Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls in the plaça dels Arbres. This institutional initiative aims to be one of the main attractions of the festival in the region.
