Police traffic stop at night, with officers detaining a vehicle for an infraction.

The Valls Local Police reported a driver last Thursday, December 11, on Carrer Artesans for testing positive (0.73 mg/l) in a breathalyzer test following a brief pursuit.

The incident took place around seven in the evening when a Local Police patrol observed the driver committing a traffic infraction on Carrer Artesans and signaled him to stop.
The driver, however, disregarded the officers' instructions and continued driving, even exceeding the speed limit in an attempt to evade them. He was eventually stopped by the police.

The rate of 0.73 mg/l in exhaled air significantly exceeds the legal limit, compounded by the fact that the driver was already a repeat offender.

Once intercepted, officers noted that the man emitted a strong smell of alcohol. The breathalyzer test registered a result of 0.73 mg/l in exhaled air.
In addition to the infraction and the high alcohol level, it was confirmed that this individual had previously been reported up to three times for the same offense, worsening his legal standing.
