The Philip Morris company began the selection process for 20 workers for its new Digital Information Services Center in Valls, Alt Camp, on Wednesday, December 17.

The process of attracting and recruiting local talent is taking place at Casa Caritat, on the Pla road, a space provided by the Valls City Council. Once the team is selected, including the center director, the new employees will undergo a training process throughout January.

"in the current context, where there continues to be great misinformation about new alternatives, we are convinced that our commitment to local talent in this new center in Valls will be key to offering a quality service in Catalan, adapted to what our consumers in Catalunya demand from us."

Jorge Soler · Project Manager at Philip Morris
The new center, named Catalan DISC Hub, will be operated by the company Konecta and is scheduled to open its doors in early 2026. It will be located in the center of Valls, in a space currently undergoing renovation by a local company.
This center is intended to become a reference point for attention and information for over a million adult smokers in Catalunya who are looking to switch to new smoke-free alternatives. The company emphasized that the search for local talent with an innovative spirit will be prioritized for this transformative project.
