Around 150 people gathered this Tuesday in Garrigàs for the official presentation of the Alt Empordà Agricultural Park, a strategic project aimed at preserving the region's rural landscape and farming activities.

The event featured prominent speakers such as Joan Caball and Pilar Bosch, who discussed the necessity of institutional cooperation. Experts highlighted successful examples like the Baix Llobregat Agricultural Park and the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano in Italy as blueprints for sustainable land management and protection against climate uncertainty.

"The next step must be to achieve the collaboration of the Administration, as it is a fundamental bet from both a strategic and financial point of view."

Antoni Falcón · President of the Agricultural Park
The organization is now seeking formal backing from regional authorities. Key meetings are scheduled with the Girona Provincial Council on March 17th and with the Alt Empordà County Council in June to secure the necessary funding and strategic support.
