Athlete Carlos Moreno wins double medals at the Spanish Championships

The athlete Carlos Moreno, from the Associació Atlètica Figueres, has secured two medals at the Spanish Master Athletics Championships held in Antequera, Malaga, this March.

The Figueres native won the gold medal in the long jump with a personal best of 3.89 meters. He also excelled on the track, earning a silver medal in the 60-meter sprint with a time of 9.64 seconds.
At 72 years old, Moreno is a prominent veteran in the Alt Empordà sports scene. Despite spending thirty years in cycling before switching to athletics, he has become a frequent podium finisher in both Catalan and Spanish competitions.
