The Castelló d'Empúries City Council has launched a free tourist transport service connecting the historic center with Empuriabrava during the summer season.

The initiative, managed by the Tourism Promotion Department, will be active from July 20 to August 16. The main goal is to offer a sustainable mobility alternative that allows residents and visitors to travel between both areas without needing a private vehicle.
Trips will take place daily in the afternoon and evening, with frequencies running from 4:10 PM to 11:10 PM. This service complements the existing regular public transport network in the municipality.
In addition to facilitating transport, the local government aims to encourage interest in local heritage. Users of this bus will be able to access the Ecomuseu Farinera and the Museu d'Història Medieval de la Cúria-Presó for a reduced fee of one euro, as well as having access to various scheduled guided tours.
