The children's book club at the Joaquim Xirau Community Center in Figueres has reached its maximum capacity, reflecting a growing passion for reading among local youngsters.

Developed in partnership with the Carles Fages de Climent Library, the club caters to children aged 8 to 12. Due to its popularity, organizers had to close registrations after reaching the limit of fifteen participants to maintain the interactive nature of the sessions.

"Where one doesn't reach, the other does. In a time when reading is difficult, comprehension is vital."

Dolors Cabrera · Club Coordinator
The program uses innovative methods such as role-playing and quick-fire games to engage students with books like Els Filstrup by Jaume Copons. This initiative is part of the Figueres Municipal Reading Plan 2025-2028, aiming to promote the Catalan language and social cohesion through literature.
