Documentary 'MUGA' wins new international award for Best Documentary

The documentary MUGA – When She Stops Flowing, So Will We was named Best Documentary this February at the Xposure International Photography & Film Festival, marking its fifth international award.

Produced by the Fundació Pioneers of Our Time, the film focuses on the Muga Valley in Catalonia, showcasing territorial regeneration and climate resilience initiatives. The project aims to demonstrate a replicable model for landscape restoration across the Mediterranean.
Since its international premiere in Amsterdam, the documentary has earned accolades at the Art&Tur 2025 and the Bracciano Film and Arts Festival 2026. It is currently available for streaming on global platforms such as WaterBear Network and CORE.
