The Figueres City Council has completed the restoration of the Caputxins Auditorium gardens, where 700 plants were added by local students to enhance this historic urban site on March 13th.

Students from various schools, including Ramon Muntaner and Cor de Maria, participated in planting traditional herbs and medicinal plants such as rosemary and calendula. This action is part of a broader municipal project to ennoble degraded public areas and promote environmental awareness among the youth.

"The vision of a new city, the city of art, the vision of the city that has dreams, illusions, and hopes to fulfill."

The intervention also included cleaning graffiti from the surrounding 19th-century Carlist walls. A quote by the renowned architect Ricard Giralt was inscribed on a wall to celebrate the city's artistic heritage. The site is particularly significant as it preserves the only remaining section of the historic fortifications in the area.
