Figueres Secures Vital 3-1 Victory Over Martinenc at Vilatenim

UE Figueres defeated Martinenc 3-1 this Tuesday at the Vilatenim stadium, marking their second consecutive victory after a difficult three-month period without a win in Primera Catalana.

The team managed by Arseni Comas broke the deadlock in the second half. Laia Ansón scored the opening goal in the 56th minute, followed shortly by a penalty converted by Valle in the 62nd minute to give the hosts a comfortable lead.
Although Martinenc managed to pull one back in the 67th minute, Figueres remained composed. Laia Ansón secured the result in stoppage time with her second goal of the match, finalizing the 3-1 scoreline.
Currently sitting eighth in the league table with 29 points, Figueres will face Vic this Saturday. The team aims to maintain its momentum and secure a third straight win against the second-to-last placed side.
