Playwright and filmmaker Iván Morales visits Figueres on Tuesday, February 3 to screen his debut feature film, Esmorza amb mi, at Catcinemes as part of the author cinema cycle.

The director, born in Barcelona in 1979, will be at Catcinemes in Figueres at 8:30 PM to present the film. This screening is included in the original version author cinema cycle organized by cineclub Diòptria and the Escola Oficial d'Idiomes (EOI), with free access until capacity is reached.
Esmorza amb mi (Have Breakfast with Me) is the cinematic adaptation of a play that Morales himself wrote, directed, and produced in 2018. Interestingly, that theatrical production was previously shown at the Teatre Municipal El Jardí in Figueres.

"a dissection made with a lot of love and also a bit of malice, of ourselves and our ways of living relationships, a dissection of emotions and feelings"
