The FC l'Escala and CF Peralada football clubs faced a difficult Sunday in the Tercera Federación league, both suffering defeats that leave them three points behind the promotion play-off zone.

L'Escala lost 2-0 away at Cornellà, with goals from Guzmán and Leo Dos Reis securing the win for the hosts. Meanwhile, Peralada was defeated 0-2 at home by Grama, despite the visitors playing with ten men after Escarrabill was sent off.
Both teams currently hold 38 points in the standings. They are now chasing l'Hospitalet, who holds the crucial fifth position with 41 points, marking the boundary for the promotion battle.
