A few weeks ago, the project to install a large wind turbine in the Els Salancs area (Albons) was presented. This project poses a severe impact on the landscape, fauna, economic activities, and proximity to residential areas.
The deadline for submitting objections is November 6, 2026. It is considered very important that the maximum number of residents submit their objections to defend local interests.
To submit objections, follow these steps: download and fill out the objection form prepared by lawyer Eduard de Ribot with your personal details, sign the document (with a digital signature or by attaching a photo of your handwritten signature in blue) and save it as a PDF. Then, access the Gencat Generic Petitions website (https://atenciociutadana.gencat.cat/ca/tramits/tramits-temes/Peticio-generica). The personal code for the request is 'Al·legacions Molí de Salancs' and the subject is 'Project for the wind farm PE El Molí de Salancs, in the municipality of Albons, and its evacuation infrastructure'.
In the 'Exposo' (I state) section, it is indicated that the project entails a severe impact on the landscape, nearby homes, economic activities, and fauna of the Albons area, as detailed in an attached document. In the 'Sol·licito' (I request) section, it is asked that the objections be considered and that the project authorization be denied. The recipient to choose is the Institut Català d’Energia (ICAEN).
Finally, attach the PDF of the objections under 'Informació addicional (document I)' (Additional information - document I), accept the declaration checkboxes, and click 'Envia!' (Send!). A complete PDF guide and the editable objection form are attached.
For those who require in-person assistance or lack digital means, it is reminded that objections can be submitted on paper at any public registry or via administrative mail through Correos. The Albons Town Council has also announced that it will offer a support service to facilitate the process.
