The Portalblau Festival has unveiled its 19th edition program in l'Escala, featuring nearly thirty activities scheduled between May 16th and October 17th in the Alt Empordà region.

The festival will host eighteen concerts in iconic locations such as the Roman Forum at the Archaeology Museum of Catalonia in Empúries. Headliners include Sopa de Cabra, Maria del Mar Bonet, and Clara Peya, alongside a special performance by Judit Neddermann with the GIO Symphonia.

"Portalblau reinforces its identity as a festival that connects artistic creation, heritage, and the Mediterranean landscape."

Miquel Fernàndez · Festival Co-director
Beyond music, the event focuses on contemporary dance, poetry, and social commitment. Initiatives like the Llavors project will connect arts with rural schools, while a new gender perspective guide for festival organization, created by Cristina Torres, highlights the event's focus on modern social values.
