Rodalies line R1 experienced average delays of 30 minutes due to a technical issue with a train in El Masnou, recorded around 7:23 AM.
Additionally, lines R11 and RG1 faced delays of approximately 15 minutes between Vilamalla and Sant Miquel de Fluvià. This disruption was caused by cable theft during the early morning. Adif personnel are currently working to resolve the situation.
Renfe has announced that the regular service for lines R11 and RG1 will be fully restored starting next Saturday, July 4th. This normalization follows the completion of the main phase of improvement works carried out by Adif between Sant Miquel de Fluvià and Flaçà.
In addition to restoring service capacity, "punctual adjustments" will be made to schedules to enhance efficiency and reliability. Line R11 will maintain schedules similar to those before May 4th, with travel time improvements on three services towards Barcelona-Figueres. Line RG1 will reinstate the two latest canceled trains due to Storm Harry and optimize transfer times at Maçanet-Massanes station to facilitate connections with line R1.
