The Christmas 2025 season in l'Escala is filled with life thanks to forty cultural and traditional proposals organized by the City Council, highlighting new decorations and live street music.

The program began with the official switching on of the Christmas lights, which this year incorporates new decorative figures installed in the municipality's streets. This extensive agenda of events seeks to consolidate l'Escala as a local festive destination that promotes citizen participation.

"This Christmas program reflects the spirit of an active and participatory municipality, where culture, tradition, and community combine to offer experiences for all audiences."

Martí Guinart · Councillor for Culture, Historical Heritage, Economic and Tourist Promotion
Among the nearly forty proposals, there are activities for all audiences, such as guided tours, family workshops, sports activities, the traditional CER raffle (quina), the Tió Festival, and the 43rd Collective Exhibition of l'Escala Artists.
As a notable novelty, there will be live music in the streets of the urban center thanks to the collaboration with the Escola Municipal de Música El Gavià. Different musicians will offer performances on December 20, 22, 23, 24, 27, 29, and 30, as well as on January 2 and 4, reviving the spirit of street carols.
The culmination of the festivities will be the arrival of the Three Wise Men, who will land at the Platja de les Barques at six in the afternoon on January 5.
