The CN Vilafranca delegation made its mark at the Spanish Children's Championship, which took place in Sabadell, thanks to the performances of Pol Rodríguez, Sabina Maria Cojan, and Nil Torné. Rodríguez was the most prominent swimmer, qualifying for the A final of the 200 breaststroke.
In this final, Pol Rodríguez secured seventh place, establishing himself as one of Spain's top specialists in this distance. Furthermore, he also qualified for the B final in the 100 breaststroke, 200 individual medley, and 400 individual medley events, showcasing his versatility.
Meanwhile, Sabina Maria Cojan competed in the 50 butterfly and 50 backstroke. In the latter event, Cojan narrowly missed qualifying for the B final by just 18 hundredths of a second. Nil Torné, despite being the youngest participant in the category, tackled a demanding program that included the 50 butterfly, 100 freestyle, 200 individual medley, and both 50 and 100 backstroke, completing it with a commendable performance.
