The DO Cava regulatory board presented five new Guarda Superior de Paratge Qualificat wines this March, highlighting the industry's strategic shift towards high-value products and exceptional quality standards.

The new additions include three wines from Sumarroca in Subirats: Núria Claverol Allier Finca Cols, Núria Claverol Homenatge Finca Peretes, and Núria Claverol Blanc de Noirs Finca Rosendo. They are joined by Vins El Cep's MIM Natura Blanc de Noirs and Carles Andreu's L'Era del Celdoni.

"Entering the Guarda Superior de Paratge Qualificat category means becoming the ultimate qualitative exponent of DO Cava."

The organization also recognized four new wineries with the Integral Producer seal: Caves Bolet, Eudald Massana, Rovellats, and Torrens Moliner. This certification, now held by 19 producers, ensures the entire winemaking process occurs on-site.
