The Town Council of Pacs del Penedès has reported the situation following the accumulated rainfall during the day. The Llitrà River, as it passes through the municipality, has a very high flow rate.
In the Salzereda area, at the La Xarmada Industrial Estate, at the Pont de Sant Joan crossing, and in the Barri Rectoria, the river has overflowed its usual course. This circumstance has forced the provisional closure of these passages to ensure public safety.
Given this situation, citizens are advised to exercise extreme caution. It is requested to avoid unnecessary travel in areas near the river and to respect the signage and instructions from municipal and emergency services.
