The Barnasants 2026 festival has announced performances by Mazoni and the duo Alosa, scheduled to take place at the Auditori Maria Rosa Juncosa in Vilafranca del Penedès during February and March.

The presentation of the singer-songwriter festival's program in the capital of Alt Penedès took place last Monday, February 2, at the Auditori Maria Rosa Juncosa. The event was attended by the Councillor for Culture, Àngels Dalmau, and the new director of Barnasants, Marçal Girbau.

"For Vilafranca, it makes a lot of sense to be part of the singer-songwriter music circuit, which has often made us reflect and advocate, in addition to being able to collaborate in a festival linked to the territory and the people who are part of it, working for the construction of a cultural network project."

The first concert will be this Friday, February 6, at eight in the evening, featuring the singer-songwriter and producer from Empordà, Mazoni, also known as Jaume Pla. He will present his latest work, Banderes per daltònics, an album that recovers the pop and instinctive spirit of his beginnings after a four-year recording silence.
The second featured performance will be on Sunday, March 22, at the same auditorium, by the duo Alosa, composed of Irene Romo and Giulietta Vidal. They will present their debut album, El primer cant del matí, a proposal that combines original compositions with adaptations of popular songs like El cant dels ocells, establishing themselves as one of the most promising projects in the Catalan scene.
