The Alt Urgell region has launched a comprehensive program for International Women's Day, featuring events in La Seu d'Urgell, Coll de Nargó, and Sorribes de la Vansa to promote gender equality.

A key highlight is the exhibition Atrapades pel temps at the Les Monges Cultural Center, which focuses on the lives of elderly women in the Pyrenees. Created by artists Berta Oromí, Josepa Travé, and Míriam Martínez, the installation will be on display until May 5th.
The schedule also included a presentation by Olympic athlete Núria Vilarrubla, who discussed balancing motherhood with professional sports. Over the weekend, local groups like Tora Blava will organize public performances and workshops, emphasizing the role of feminism in rural communities.
