The Alt Urgell Regional Council and the Sant Agustí Library in La Seu d’Urgell have scheduled free activities for children and adults on Saturday, December 20, to strengthen reading habits.

These actions are included in the 2025 Culture Promotion Plan (Pla de Foment de la Cultura 2025) and aim to attract all age groups with the goal of improving reading comprehension and promoting equal access to written culture, moving towards a more critical and cohesive society.
Highlights include the literary route “What is written in the Pyrenees” (Què s’escriu al Pirineu), led by Montse Milan and Laura Casanovas at the El Refugi bookstore. Additionally, the Cacauet Teatre company will perform the play Una història a mida, based on a story by Ramon Besora, at the Sala Sant Domènec.
The day will conclude with the presentation of the book Cugula, by author Ivet Eroles, accompanied by Núria Llobet and Josep Vilarrubla, also at the El Refugi bookstore. All scheduled activities for this Saturday are free of charge.
This set of actions, jointly promoted by the Regional Council and the Sant Agustí Library, places special emphasis on community participation and networking with schools, libraries, and cultural entities in the Alt Urgell region.
