The Alt Urgell County Council has outlined a nearly one-million-euro investment plan for 2026 to upgrade the local road network and rural paths across the region.

Funded by the Department of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition, the plan includes seven key interventions. These projects will benefit ten municipalities, with local town halls contributing 10% of the total costs.
Key projects include a new footbridge over the Segre River between Peramola and Oliana, and improved access to villages such as Forn, Canturri, Estamariu, Argestues, and Berén. Maintenance work on drainage and safety barriers will also be prioritized.
