The community project 'Oliana t'acompanya' commenced this Tuesday in Oliana with a music therapy workshop, an initiative designed to strengthen social bonds and enhance participants' well-being.
The inaugural proposal, titled 'Un matí d'Orquestra' (A Morning with the Orchestra), aims to facilitate access to music through a group activity that stimulates communication, memories, and sensations. This activity is part of a broader project intended to foster citizen participation and collective well-being.
“
"The truth is that it has been very well received; we have two groups, one open to the entire population and another with residents from the Oliana residence and also from the social group El Picot."
Participants have had the opportunity to experiment with various instruments, such as percussion instruments, violins, and guitars, thereby promoting interaction between musicians and attendees. This interactive dynamic is key to achieving the workshop's objectives.
“
"The idea is not to create a closed project, but quite the opposite; what we want is for people to participate, and if ideas emerge, we will seek to implement them. To be open and design it together."
Robert Canela, a member of the production team for the Un matí d'Orquestra workshops, highlighted that it is an interactive concert featuring a quartet of musicians who prepare a special repertoire. Participants not only listen to the music but can also ask questions about the songs or instruments, enriching the experience.
This activity is the result of a collaboration between the Orquestra Julià Carbonell and Apropa Cultura. In total, ten similar workshops have been scheduled across the Lleida region, including sessions in La Seu d'Urgell and Tremp, expanding the reach of this cultural and social initiative.
