The Pyrenees Game Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary in la Seu d'Urgell from March 27 to 29, with organizers expecting to exceed 14,000 visitors.

The festival's main program is preceded by events starting March 9. This year, a special campaign seeks to honor Elizabeth Magie, the true inventor of Monopoly, by requesting a street name in her honor from the la Seu d'Urgell Town Council.
New venues have been added to the circuit, including Hotel el Castell de Ciutat for strategy games and the Ateneu de l'Alt Urgell for late-night sessions. The festival will also reach Oliana through school visits and organize activities at the Llar de Sant Josep nursing home.
Deputy Mayor Gemma Tó highlighted the event's international prestige. This edition introduces a new category in the Catalonia Awards for the best role-playing game in Catalan, while the Amic del Joc award will recognize the charity work of Ayudar Jugando.
