The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested three men this Wednesday in La Seu d'Urgell after finding various narcotic substances hidden in their vehicle during a preventive checkpoint on the N-260.

The police action took place during a road safety operation. Upon stopping the vehicle, officers detected a strong smell of marijuana, which led to a thorough search of the car. During the inspection, various quantities of illegal substances were found, including pink cocaine, hashish, and MDMA.
In addition to the drugs, officers seized a precision scale, cash, and materials intended for retail drug sales. One of the vehicle's occupants attempted to deceive the officers by providing a false identity during the identification process.
The police canine unit participated in the vehicle search to rule out the existence of further hiding spots. Although no more substances were found, the dogs marked areas where drugs had likely been transported previously. The detainees have been placed at the disposal of the duty court in La Seu d'Urgell.
