Boí Taüll Becomes the Hub of Pyrenean Gastronomy with GastroPirineus

The resort hosts renowned chefs and a global meeting of ski journalists throughout March.

The Boí Taüll ski resort, located in la Vall de Boí, will host the 11th edition of GastroPirineus on March 1st and 2nd, highlighting mountain cuisine and local products.

Managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, the event features prominent chefs such as Eli Farrero and Sergi de Meià. The program focuses on sustainable tourism and high-altitude culinary traditions in the Alta Ribagorça region.
A major highlight will be the masterclass by Oriol Castro from the restaurant Disfrutar, which was ranked as the best restaurant in the world in 2024. Castro will showcase the latest techniques developed at his award-winning establishment.
Following the food festival, the resort will welcome the 71st World Meeting of Ski Journalists until March 7th. Over 90 journalists from 20 countries are expected to attend, combining professional seminars with visits to the UNESCO World Heritage Romanesque churches.
