The incident occurred around 6:35 PM, when a witness saw the child climb onto the railing and fall. Emergency services were immediately alerted via 112.
The girl's parents, who were inside the house, rushed downstairs upon hearing the cries and took their daughter to the local Primary Care Center (CAP) on Canaleta street, very close to their home.
From the El Pont de Suert CAP, where she received initial medical attention, it was decided to evacuate the child. A medical emergency helicopter (SEM) transported her to Sant Joan de Déu hospital, where she is currently admitted.
