This extensive program, featuring 33 competition days, places a special emphasis on cycling, both road and mountain, and on races through natural environments. FGC highlights that this initiative reinforces its commitment to promoting physical activity, sports, and active tourism at its facilities.
In recent months, notable events such as the Skyrace Pic de l’Orri at Port Ainé, the men's Tour of La Molina and Vallter, and the Vertical Montserrat have already taken place. La Molina, in particular, is confirmed as an epicenter for mountain biking, hosting the European DH Cup, the Biking Point XCO Catalan International Cup, the Super Cup Youth, and the Spanish XCC Championship in early June. Additionally, on June 28th, Vallter will host the Gran Fondo Pirineus.
Road cycling will also have its moment. On June 20th, La Molina will be the finish line for an stage of the 2026 Women's Tour of Catalonia, a day that promises to be decisive. Furthermore, on July 6th, La Molina will host a stage of the 2026 Tour de France, starting from Granollers. Finally, on August 22nd, Vallter will host the 73rd Gran Premi Ripoll.
The Vall de Boí will lead the mountain races with events such as the Caraamon KV and the Trail Comaminyana at the end of May, which can be combined with the time trial climb to Boí Taüll. The Garmin Mountain Festival Vall de Boí, from June 27th to 29th, will offer epic races and cultural activities.
Other significant events include the Travessa Vallter – Núria (July 19th) to raise funds for cancer, the Marrana Skyrace at Vallter (September 6th), and the Pyrenees Stage Run in Vall de Núria (August 29-30th). The Espot and Port Ainé resorts will host the 16th edition of the Rialp Matxicots (September 19-20th).
L'Olla de Núria, one of the most recognized trail running events, will reach its 18th edition on September 20th and 21st, featuring the Vertical Olla de Núria and the Clàssica Olla de Núria. The summer season will conclude at La Molina with the Nit Pirineu (October 2nd) and the Salomon Ultra Pirineu (October 3-4th), a 100 km race. Finally, on October 17th, Vall de Núria will host the Brama race.
