The event, organized by the Igualada City Council and the Igualada Photographic Group, offers a circuit through 14 iconic locations, including the Leather Museum and the Rec district. This year, the festival highlights the concept of community as a network connecting artists, local organizations, and the public.
“"The word community defines very well what happens here: artists collaborating, entities joining forces, and an audience that feels part of the project."
Key highlights include Retratos de Familia by Estela de Castro and the collective project #Serlobas by Elisa Miralles and Lurdes R. Basolí. Furthermore, the festival strengthens its local roots with works by Roger Serrat-Calvó and Cecília Coca, exploring the hidden corners of the Anoia capital.
The program features 36 parallel activities, including workshops, talks, and guided tours. The festival also pays tribute to the career of Joan Tomàs Tomàs, a prominent figure in local photography, and hosts the 75th Iberian Trofeu Pell.
