The Vilanova del Camí Town Council officially reopened the Sant Hilari Municipal Market this Friday following a comprehensive renovation funded by the Barcelona Provincial Council.

With an investment of nearly one million euros, the facility has been modernized to serve as a commercial engine for the Anoia region. Currently, 5 out of 11 stalls are already occupied, with plans to fill the remaining spaces soon to revitalize the surrounding streets.

"It will not only be a place to shop, but also to chat and taste."

The inauguration was attended by officials including Josep Ramon Mut and Jordi Riba. The new layout features a central social area with seating, aiming to transform the traditional market into a community meeting point for residents.
