Piera's Church Square will transform on Saturday, October 3rd, into a stage full of stories, magic, and creativity with the celebration of a new edition of "Encontadíssims". This festival of storytelling, designed for all audiences, will run from 11 AM until the evening.
The event will feature various spaces and corners where stories will come to life. Highlights include the show "El carromato màgic", a magic and humor performance with three scheduled sessions throughout the day (11:30 AM, 5 PM, and 7 PM).
The company Teatre Aula will present children's literature classics with "El vestit nou de l’emperador" at 12:30 PM and "El viatge de James", inspired by Roald Dahl, at 6 PM. For younger children, the Olivera space will offer "Les històries de la Tortuga Faluga" and sessions of "Contes de butxaca".
The day will also include reading areas, such as wooden huts and a reading corner, and participatory activities like "Una d’endevinalles!" (Riddles!). Additionally, creative workshops like "Les paraules plantades" (Planted Words), where words become seeds, and "Les llibretes de les paraules màgiques" (Magical Word Notebooks) have been organized.
To complete the experience, there will be food trucks and a popular snack at 5:30 PM. The Culture department aims to promote literature and oral storytelling as a shared experience, combining performances, reading, creativity, and play.
