The Minister of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition, Sílvia Paneque i Sureda, confirmed during her visit to the Val d’Aran that the Aran Sustainable Mobility Table will resume next February. The goal is to find short, medium, and long-term solutions to manage the high increase in visitors, especially during peak seasons.
“"We want to advance solutions that can help the mobility of Aran, especially when the increase in visitors is high."
Regarding housing, Minister Paneque highlighted the progress in providing human resources for the Conselh d’Aran. The commitment includes financing the hiring of two key professionals: an architect and administrative support, to strengthen local management.
Furthermore, to ensure compliance with the Housing Law and an equitable territorial distribution of the inspector civil servants corps, one inspector position will be specifically assigned to the Val d’Aran.
Finally, Sílvia Paneque defended the adaptability of the Plan 50.000 to address diverse realities, from large cities to small municipalities. She assured that work will be done on small plots (twenty dwellings or less) to advance affordable rental housing policies in the Val d’Aran.
