The Balsareny Town Council has unveiled its March 8th program, specifically targeting the sticky floor phenomenon—the domestic burdens and job insecurity that prevent women from professional growth.

The Department of Feminism and Equality, in collaboration with the Grup de Dones and local associations, aims to highlight the need for real shared responsibility. The campaign focuses on the structural barriers that still hinder women's advancement in the workplace.
A key visual element will be the protest speech bubbles displayed at the Town Hall and El Sindicat hall. Residents are encouraged to collect their own bubbles to decorate private balconies and carry them during the demonstration on Sunday, March 8th.
While most activities, including yoga and film forums, are open to the general public to engage men as allies, some exclusive spaces remain. The Women's Dinner and the Frikibingo on Friday, March 6th, will be women-only events to foster support networks and safe spaces.
