Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) has restored service on the train track between the Súria mine and the port of Barcelona, after it was damaged by activists. The Government has announced it will file complaints regarding the incident.

FGC operatives worked tirelessly throughout Saturday night into Sunday to repair the affected section of the so-called "potash train" line. The infrastructure had been dismantled the previous day by a group of activists from Revoltes de la Terra, as part of a protest against the company ICL.

"A complaint will be filed, the events are very serious. Protest is legitimate, but this action is punishable. It is sabotage."

Manel Nadal · Secretary of Mobility of the Generalitat
In addition to the complaint from the Generalitat, the Callús City Council has also expressed its intention to report the damage caused in the municipality during the same protest. Damages include a wall and the creation of barricades with stones and branches on the cemetery road.
