The Local Police of Sant Fruitós de Bages, in coordination with the Catalan Traffic Service, will carry out a school transport control campaign around educational centers from January 19 to 25.

The surveillance campaign, which is part of a coordinated action by the Servei Català de Trànsit (SCT), aims primarily to verify that vehicles designated for the transport of minors comply with all mandatory safety requirements and current administrative regulations.
Controls will be carried out primarily in the vicinity of the schools in Sant Fruitós de Bages, coinciding with student entry and exit times. This measure seeks to reduce the involvement of these vehicles in traffic accidents and ensure safer mobility for the children and youth of the municipality.
The operation will pay special attention to the detection and correction of infractions, reviewing both administrative conditions (enabling titles, specific authorizations) and the technical status of the vehicles. Documentation, the ITV (Technical Vehicle Inspection), tire condition, availability of first aid kits and extinguishers, and the correct operation of emergency doors will be checked.
Furthermore, the execution of the service will be monitored, including seat occupancy, compliance with drivers' driving and rest times, the presence of an accompanying person when mandatory, and the correct use of seat belts by passengers.
