The transport company has launched a fleet of 24 high-capacity hybrid buses that will connect Manresa and Barcelona daily, standing out for their high safety technology.

This new fleet of 24 buses, notable for their length, has a capacity for 71 seated people and 29 standing. They will cover the route between Manresa and Barcelona, with nine additional reserve vehicles, two of which will be permanently available in Manresa.
According to sources from the Monbus company, the constant availability of reserve vehicles will improve incident management, as previously it was necessary to wait for a bus to finish its service to support the Manresa-Barcelona line.
The vehicles are equipped with a black box to record key data and incidents, in addition to advanced safety systems. This includes a combination of radar sensors and cameras that alert in case of danger and can automatically initiate initial braking if the driver does not react.

The new equipment prevents the vehicle from starting if it detects that the driver has consumed alcohol, significantly reinforcing road safety on the interurban line.

Other safety features include systems to detect symptoms of fatigue or irregularities in the driver's handling, fire warning, and mechanisms to prevent lane departure, as well as specific alerts for the presence of cyclists or pedestrians in front of the vehicle.
