More than 1,500 people gathered this Saturday, March 14, at the UManresa campus for the first Children's and Youth Book Fair held in the city of Manresa.

Organized by the Manresa City Council, Plataforma per la Llengua, and UManresa, the fair aimed to boost reading habits among younger generations. The high turnout forced organizers to expand several activities held at the FUB1 hall throughout the day.
Local bookstores showcased the latest titles while children enjoyed storytelling performances by Vivim del cuentu. Following this success, a second and larger edition has already been confirmed for next year in the Bages region.
