Photographers Elisa Miralles and Lurdes R. Basolí are presenting the #serlobas project this weekend in Igualada, an artistic initiative aimed at deconstructing the masculine gaze on female identity.

Part of the FineArt Igualada festival, the exhibition at l'Escorxador features audiovisual projections and large-scale fabrics displaying real skin textures and scars. The artists invite viewers to recognize the body through naturalness, moving away from traditional objectification.

"We want to move from a passive place of objectification to an active place of self-representation."

The project's core consists of immersive workshops at the North Civic Center. Participants engage in co-authorship, rotating roles between being the muse and the photographer, challenging the notion that the person clicking the shutter is the sole author.
