BAXI Manresa coach Diego Ocampo analyzed his team's defeat in the Liga Endesa against Unicaja last Sunday, pointing to turnovers and the lack of rebound control as key factors in the loss.

After falling to Unicaja, BAXI Manresa coach Diego Ocampo praised the performance of the opposing point guard, stating that “they resolved Alberto Díaz's absence well because Perry played a great game, with baskets that hurt us”. Ocampo emphasized that the team competed very well against a highly physical opponent.

The coach identified three moments of crisis during the match. The first, in the second quarter, was overcome thanks to the intensity of Gerard Fernández. A second crisis in the third quarter was resolved by defending the rebound well, and the last, in the final quarter, was managed through tactics and team effort.
However, Ocampo regretted that Unicaja's run at the start of the final period was decisive, caused by “some unexpected turnovers, and at the beginning of the fourth period with offensive rebounds by Barreiro and Tyson that hurt us”. He added that when you defend well and they score a three-pointer after consecutive rebounds, “it is very demoralizing”.

"I hope they respect him more. When someone from the club gets the opportunity to play, even if we don't know their name, they need respect. It is somewhat frustrating that this does not happen despite a physical difference."

Regarding injuries, Ocampo asked for patience for Dani Pérez, who has only had two training sessions, reminding that “people are not machines”. Ahead of Wednesday's game against Venice, Ubal might return, pending a test, while Brooks (a “strange” injury) and Benítez (swollen ankle) will remain out.
