The Grup Pessebrístic de Manresa closed the 26th edition of its monumental nativity scene at the Centre Cultural el Casino on Epiphany, attracting 9,167 visitors since December 13.

The exhibition, organized by the Grup Pessebrístic de Manresa, closed its doors on Epiphany, last Tuesday, at Espai7 in the Centre Cultural el Casino in Manresa. During the three weeks it was open, starting December 13, the work was visited by a total of 9,167 people.

"There would have been more if the weather had cooperated a little more, given that the rainy days rather deterred visitors."

Francesc Villegas · President of the Grup Pessebrístic de Manresa
This year's installation, celebrating its 26th edition, stood out for combining traditional scenes with reproductions of Manresa's modernist industrial heritage. The main nativity scene was nine meters long by three meters wide and included a reproduction of the wooden hydraulic wheel from the Can Font farmhouse.
In addition to the central work, the exhibition was complemented by twenty dioramas created by various artists. The organization also recorded 326 morning visits from collective groups, including students from Ítaca, Bages, and Valldaura schools, as well as groups from Càritas, Creu Roja, Althaia, and Ampans.
The Grup Pessebrístic de Manresa, which works almost all year preparing for this essential Christmas event, also had a presence in other parts of the city and the region, such as Plaça Major, the Sagrada Família Parish, and with dioramas in Sant Joan de Vilatorrada and Sant Martí de Sesgueioles.
