Renfe spokesperson Antonio Carmona justified the partial resumption of commuter train service in Catalonia this Saturday, arguing that the technical situation had positively evolved since 3 AM.

The Renfe spokesperson, Antonio Carmona, explained that offering a limited service was made possible thanks to the work of technical teams, despite the initial announcement of a total suspension of rail traffic.

"We had a situation at three in the morning that has been able to evolve thanks to the work done by all the teams, and we preferred to offer this service."
