The Rodalies de Catalunya service started today, Thursday, with the same limitations as yesterday, confirmed Renfe spokesperson, Antonio Carmona, from Sants station, offering no clear timeline for full recovery.

The operator announced that, despite efforts to maintain service frequency in the Barcelona area, disruptions may occur due to speed restrictions imposed on the network. The R4 line is among the most affected, with train service only running between Sant Vicenç de Calders and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, and from Martorell Central to Terrassa Estació del Nord.
R4 users must use bus transfers to cover the sections between Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Martorell Central, as well as the final stretch between Terrassa Estació del Nord and Manresa.

"We continue negotiating in order to redirect the situation and thus offer the most normal service possible."
